Some Basic Information on LED Tubes

Over the period of time, fluorescent lighting had become a vital part of most of the domestic and commercial setups. Recently, through a study conducted by environmentalists, it was stated that fluorescent lights commonly emit radiations which are very harmful for the environment. These fluorescent lights can cause several health problems when used for a long period of time. Further, these lights contain mercury and lead which are dangerous for the environment. In the wake of this, more emphasis is now being laid on using eco-friendly LED Tubes, which do not emit any radiation like UV and IR. LEDs are safer, cost-effective and consume less than 60% of the energy consumed by the incandescent bulbs. Moreover, the LED Tubes do not emit any toxic gases on breakage unlike incandescent lights.

Researchers have revealed that LED Tubes have long functional life and provide 50,000 to 100,000 hours of operations for the users. These benefits make LEDs both cost-effective and energy-efficient as compared to other lightning technologies.

Some Basic Information On LED Tubes:
·    LED Tubes are light emitting diode which are vital semiconductors emitting light.
·    These tubes are fabricated using latest eco-friendly technologies, ensuring no damage to the environment.
·    LED Tubes use small bulbs which emit excellent light.
·    One LED Tube is made from hundreds of LEDs.
·    LEDs are greatly used by commercial, motor industries, agriculture sector and even in the traffic lights.
·    LED Tubes are precisely designed in such a way that they are very easy to install with minimal maintenance.
·    The cost of LED Tubes is more as compared to fluorescent ones; but it’s worth spending on the former.
·    LED Tubes can be easily disposed and purchased with new fixtures.
·    LED Tubes do not require ballasts or starters which are used by fluorescent lights.

Moreover, LED tubes are eco-friendly, save time and money and are gaining huge popularity over CFL bulbs. They are non-hazardous and do not cause any strain on eye or health problems unlike incandescent lights. Thus, people should adopt the habit of using LED Tubes, which are efficient energy savers and consumer friendly as well.
